The Philharmonic pub was constructed for the brewer Robert Cain, the building was designed by local architect Walter Thomas, working with craftsmen from the School of Architecture and Applied Arts at what is now the University of Liverpool.
Outside the pub, there’s stunning metal gates are of Nouveau work– and the interior is just as impressive. The Gents toilets are also quite famous! There is food served daily, a sunday menu, bar snacks, and various other menus available.
